Wall Street rebounds after worst day of 2019
Wall Street has risen more than 1 per cent after having its worst day of 2019 yesterday.

The DOW rose 311 points or 1.2 per cent to finish at 26,029. The NASDAQ gained 107 points or 1.3 per cent to finish at 7,833.

The S&P 500 added 37 points or 1.3 per cent to finish at 2,881.

U.S. stocks rebounded as China works to stabilize its currency after it dropped to its lowest level in more than a decade amid the ongoing trade feud with the U.S.

North of the border, Bay Street finished lower for a sixth day in a row as investors played catch up to the global equity selloff following a long weekend.

The TSX fell 122 points or 0.7 per cent to finish at 16,149.
