This week, with world leaders converging in Manhattan for the UN General Assembly, Gothamist reporters have been hard at work. Our team covered the meeting between President Trump and Mayor Mamdani at Gracie Mansion, kept you updated on the street closures that made it (extra) hard to get around midtown, and reported on the protests outside of the UN throughout the week.
But the General Assembly wasn’t the only thing happening in New York. The City settled with DoorDash for underpaying delivery workers. Parents voiced uncertainty about the phase out of the Regents Exam by New York State. A proposal was made to create a bike lane on the elevated roadway by Grand Central Terminal.
