We need your support

Will you be one of the 185 donors we need?

Dear News, We set a goal for our fall membership campaign of securing 300 donations to support Gothamist by next Friday. Here’s the update on where we stand: we’re making progress but we still need 185 additional donors to step up if we’re going to reach our goal. Will you make a donation today to help us get there? YES, I'LL STEP UP Reader support is central to Gothamist’s ability to bring you the local journalism that makes you an informed New Yorker. Your donation today will provide financial resources to cover stories like: Breaking news events like the nor’easter that swept through our area last weekend The resignation of New Jersey’s Lt. Governor amid allegations of inappropriate behavior Ongoing coverage of transportation, the cost of living, public safety, and the many other issues that are central to life in our region Quality local news relies on strong local support. That’s why we’re asking you for help today to meet our goal of securing 185 additional donations by Friday, October 9. And when you help us reach this goal by donating $8 per month or more, we'll send you our Classic Rat Tote as a thank you gift. Wear it proudly and show that you support local news in New York.   Dan Fitchette Senior Director, Membership WNYC  |   WQXR  |   NJPR   |   GOTHAMIST WNYC STUDIOS  |   THE GREENE SPACE Copyright © New York Public Radio.
